Featured Replies

Year: 2001

Mileage: 101k

MOT: 26/10/15

Location: Northampton

Price: £1500

So the time has come to sell my 6n2 TDI. Will be greatly missed and hasn't ever let me done but time for a change and I now have a scirocco.

On the laptop at the minute and have no pictures but my entire build thread is here with plenty on pics: http://www.clubpolo....howtopic=312834

Breakdown of the car/spec etc.

1.4 TDI on 101k cambelt + waterpump done at 88k

Service history in my ownership of 2-3 years (services roughly ever 5k)

MOT until end of October 2015. No tax due to new law but its £30 a year anyway!

Car is a Y plate but has my private plate on which WILL be coming with the car as my scirocco is too old for it.

Vehicle has 2 keys. 2 remote central locking "new style flip keys" but blades haven't been cut.

Mercato blue (LA5M)

Engine/exhaust:

Darkside developments EGR delete

Decat + straight through exhaust (it is loud but gives a lot better acceleration)

Induction kit (original airbox will come if wanted)

Wheels/suspension:

Back on standard wheels. Lowered on FK's but needs new top mounts as they "twang" but would advise new coilovers anyway as there not the greatest!

Chassis notch done on drivers side.

Exterior:

All GTI grilles (TDI badge on grille)

GTI headlights with fully operating headlamp washers AND auto levelling system

Genuine VW headlamp protectors

GTI splitter

GTI rear spoiler with 3rd brake light

Rear wiper delete done properly with insert not gay rubber bungs you always see

Flat blade wipers on front

Team Heko windeflectors

Open Air roof (not wired in, but comes with switches should you choose to want to) can be used manually as I have been

LED numberplate lights

Interior:

Full colour concept Blue/Black leather interior including door cards/gear gaitor/handbrake gaitor. (drivers bolster starting to tear and a rip on rear)

Black leather storage compartment/arm rest inbetween front seats

Lupo clock surrounds (not best fit but never bothered me)

Arosa centre console (T piece by windscreen never stuck down properly and needs attention) (doner 6n2 dash can come with sale)

Fully functioning VW MFD2 Satellite Navigation system (from a 08 Passat so maps only go up to 08)

6 Disc cahnger in boot, it wont eject CD's anymore so I'm removing it to break it open to retrieve cds. Changers can be picked up cheap

Parrot MKi9200 all signing all dancing iPod/usb/aux connections

Corsa B sunglasses holder in place of drivers grab handle

Audi TT pedal covers

Bad Points (every car has them):

Passenger window switch in drivers panel doesn't work (pass side switch still works) + window is slow and sometimes goes back down on its own when raising. Drivers window doesn't go all the way down but most of the way.

Open air hasn't been wired in as mentioned above but wired down to pass footwell just needs finishing, can be used manually just not as cool.

Roof lining will need replacing as its out of a 6n so grab handles etc don't line up (will all be in boot with car)

Excess mastic on roof from when I sealed it, just needs time spent picking it off so no big deal.

CD changer wont be included as mentioned above.

Horn has stopped working.

Made a mess of dash T piece, never bothered me but will come with doner dash if wanted.

Few marks/scuffs as to be expected from car 14 years old.

Chip in windscreen, has been there since before I bought the car as the guy I bought it off said it had been filled/sealed by auto glass. Has never grown in size or got worse so would assume it was done.

Heated seats not wired up but I have custom loom that can come with car if wanted. Switches are in dash but not plugged to anything.

Any questions just ask

Car will be located in Northampton just off M1 J15 at time of sale.

Tried to be as honest as I can so you know what your getting!
