Hi all,

Lately my windows will go down, but will then stop 3/4 of the way down and won't go down any further on my 6n2. Does anyone know why and how I can fix this? If this helps, I think it started happening near the time I replaced the battery.

Remove the door card and inspect the runners, glass clips and wire behind the foam membrane. Likely plastic clips holding the glass at the bottom has broken. Can be bought on eBay and eBay.de (dealer will only sell you complete mechanism).

Thanks, I shall have a look this weekend! :) The drivers side window now seems to go all the way down (without anything being done), but as I go to put it up it nearly shuts then brings itself half way down and when I go to put it up I have to hold it until it gets just before it gets to the top it stops and I have to hold it again. The passengers side seems to still do as what I put above.

Before you take the covers off, open the windows all the way then hold the switch in the down position for 20 seconds, then close them all the way are do the same. If they don't close then put the key into the drivers door and hold in the lock position until they fully close then hold the switch to closed .

The 6n2 has a feature that will not allow you to close the window with an obstruction in the way, and because of this the switches have a "stop" position and this will get reset when you remove the battery. Holding the buttons sets the stop position to the top of the window frame.
