I'll be taking the GT engine and wiring loom out of my polo in the not so distant future.

there is a knocking from the bottom-end so please keep this in mind.

this probably makes it ideal for upgrading a none GT or even as spares?

other than the issue mentioned above the engine is spot on.

the head was skimmed and fitted with knew valve stem seals not to long ago.

and the sump is relatively new.

in addition to the engine, ancillaries and Loom there is a 4 speed box to go with it.

if somebody would like to come and take the whole lot, it is for sale at £100.

the engine will be out by the 7/8th of February.

if there has been no interested by then I will break the engine for parts (ideally I don't want be doing this)

I'm located just outside of Manchester and would prefer the engine to be collected.

How bads the knock? any idea what it could be? thanks x

The knock is continuos and fairly loud,

I've not bothered to investigate as I've got a 16v lump to replace it
