Volkswagen Polo Gti 9n3 2006 Revo Stage 1

Featured Replies

I’ve owned this car since October 2012 and the car has been nothing but brilliant. It is in excellent condition for its age and regularly gets comments on how immaculate it actually is. There has been no cost spared whilst I’ve owned this car with full service history and its most recent service in Volkswagen itself back in August 2014 whilst in for a service they noticed the rear brakes needed changing so I decided to replace them all with Brembo Max discs all round and Brembo brake pads. In August 2013, the car was taken to performance specialists GotBoost in Bridgend, South Wales where it was put on their rolling road and had a Revo Stage 1 Remap (possibly the best remap for this car) up to 187.2BHP and 224.4FtLb torque. I’ve had friends who have had their polo’s remapped elsewhere and cheaper and they have commented on how good the car feels. During the remap a Forge recirculation valve was added to replace the standard Bosch one and a K&N longlife panel filter was also bought to replace the paper one. The front wishbone bushes have all been replaced with Powerflex bushes as this is a common fault with the originals breaking up on these cars. Along with this during my ownership I have also replaced both rear bearings. The lower front grills have also been replaced with honeycomb grills (similar look to the MK5 Golf Gti) which really makes the car stand out.

Currently the car has a non-resonated Milltek cat back exhaust fitted. If the asking price is met this will go with the car along with the standard exhaust.
