Might be a simple question but i just wonna know how to do it rather than working it out, so can someone tell me how to take the front seats out of a mk2f? thanks

There is a nut and bolt at the front of the seat, you'll see it next to the adjustment lever. Crack this off with a 10mm spanner and it should undo by hand then.

Then simply pull on the lever and slide the seat back and take it clean off the runners, then lift out the car.

Watch you don't loose the nut and bolt or the 2 little plastic tabs that sit in the runners with the seat.

There's a trim above the seat rail, next to the handbrake that you need to pull off as well.
