Polo 9N Water in Foot well + more

Featured Replies

Hi,

So my Polo 9n has started to let water in the rear passenger foot well drivers side. Initially we thought nothing of it, thinking water must of seeped in when we washed the car, so we dried. Turns out that was not correct. Just struggling to find what the problem could be, after research it seems like the drainage to the sunroof, I did use a water bottle to see where the water was going, the rear drainage valve appears to be working, gonna try and clear out the front valve area. It also appears to be the reason why my car suffers heavily from condensation.

However I did notice that water also entered the fuse box area :-( and falling through pillar b, which I tried to open up, and while trying to reattach the upper part, one of the fastening screws fell through :/ Anyone know where I can get extras or how to remove the lower part of pillar B to get it?

Now on the other side of my car, rear passenger door, the door doesn't open at all.......when using the central locking mechanism, I can hear the motor trying to open the door, but failing. Some people stated the I need a new motor or it could be a problem with some sort of tension cable?

Any advice or links with advice from previous threads would be appreciated
