I know this is an old thread but I'm trying to pretty closely copy this build. I know generally speaking I'm looking for a ko3 turbo, I have however seen a few 1.2 and 1.4 golf / polo / Skoda tsi turbos and manifolds for a reasonable price.

In the pictures it looks like the bolt pattern of the tsi manifolds is right for an abd/2g head. Does anyone know if I can use one of those in my mk2, abd, build?

The abd has the same head casting as a mk2 polo, just different internals, and the later abd head had 7mm valves.

I'm fairly certain a TSI manifold won't fit, my manifold was a stainless Toyota starlet manifold with both the flanges changed.
