Can wait to see how this works. Sounds interesting. Weren't Renault 5 GT turbos the same system (blow through carb system)?

So test fitted the turbo on the manifold, (turbo needs clocking) also a pic of when I shortend my engine loom removing all the ecu bits, and checking it over re wrapping it with nice new loom tape.

150-180 idealy, its been done before so fingers crossed,

also have a few more trick parts lined up

incldung a baffled sump and a windage tray :)

Maybe I missed this, but what is/will the engine spec be? How are you lowering compression?

I've been very busy this afternoon, the shortend 2f loom with the ecu cut out is in, and I've just been fitting everything back, and tidying the wires :) also sorting a few other little things at the same time, the mechanical ignition is in again for the moment, and I need to re wire the fuel pumps, to a relay of the key, as I was running a bike pump but I'm now running a hp presure pump again.

I've just bought an intercooler kit and a few other goodies ;)

Cool can't wait to see this on the road. A forced induction polo has always been a dream (I've had a corrado G60 which I wish I'd never sold)

refurb carb and testfit👍

rebuild turbo👍

fit new exhaust bolts and studs ect👍

make downpipe fit 👍

finish wiring gauges 👍

test all electrics 👍

fit polished oil catch tank👍 looks rubbish lol

fit boost fpr👍

modify g40 top hat for boost reference to fpr 👍

buy and fit oil cooler? 👍

modify oil return to fit 👍

make custom air intake induction pipe with adpayers ect and fit foam filter.👍

fit custom solid water pipes 👍

strip front suspension refurb new shocks bushes👍 ect,

lower a fraction more 😒

fit intercooler and pipework 👍

setup engine on rr 👍

So what's recently happend, is I've refurbed the carb, built everything up fitted it all together, I painted the g40 top hat, and polished the dump valve (needs abit more) put the intake manifold on, and put the front mount intercooler on, and chopped the bumper abit so it all fitted :)
