Now to put in some work to get the power down, and modify the throttle wheel to make the throttle pull alittle shorter :)

Or do you mean to change the profile of the wheel into a quarter ellipse. That gives fine control at low speeds but quicker movement at wider openings.

That cables well expensive haha, max i will be spending is about £5 😂 Its not a wheel shape mate thats the problem its like a lever on a shaft, so maybe even fitting a wheel will be better, I'm most probably gonna bend something or attach the throttle cable to a differnt part of the lever.

Sorted it for £3 from a bike shop, the new cable design is awesome, and no theottle wheel modification 👍 And full pull on the wheel.

Mot ran out on the 14th of jan, cars having a break for a few months of the road well i get it ready for its mot, also ill be changing the gearbox and clutch, fitting my metel clutch ends, all new drive shaft bolts ect, fitting my stage 2 subframe, banded steels, new rear shoes and adjusters and sorting out an oil leak :)

Cant make the clubpolo rr day, but hopefully wil be ready for the polo social 👍

Been thinking about that ;) do you drive yours down and back from scottland? Been thinking about if a trailer would be better or not.

I did last year and that is the plan this year too, Although hiring a trailer isn't expensive, certainly cheaper than getting recovered.

Well i have rac cover and track insurance with my insurance, apparently i can get recovered to any destination in the uk with the expensive cover they offer which i took out, not sure if a trailer would be a good move id have the boost wound up anyway 👍

Update on this, went on holiday didnt start it since end of december and now it wont fire up 😂 Changing coil pack hopefully that should sort it, might even fit my custom spi ignition setup if i can be bothered and all else fails.

Custom SPI ignition set up? What's that involve?

Cant tell you that mate 😉 Do some reaserch in the right places, all i can say a mix of ignition compnents that can achieve better timing to avoid det when on boost, and pretty much free comapered to nodiz ect 😂

Got some fatter tyres on and new rear brakes :) changed the coil and amp and it still wont start gonna change the dizzy and see what happens 😁 Might do a compression test i doubt I've melted something though 😂

Think its blocked carb, my fuel filter is way overdue a change 😂 Fingers crossed should sort it.

Ohh i squirted fuel down the carb and it began to run so its deffo a fueling problem, could be worse lol

so adding some more goodies onto the build.

omp 6 point roll cage has been purchased

fitting a stage 2 subframe

sache g40 clutch

metel clutch cable ends

8p gearbox (was gt box)

wider tyres all round

bonnet rams.

and I've repainted the bay :) pics to follow

Lots of nice bits then!

Did you buy the cage new or second hand?

Do you want to sell GT box? lol
