Get onto Shiply mate. It is a site in which you basically stick an add up for what you want moving, where from and where to. Then all you do is sit back and wait for transporters to get back in touch with you with their quotes.

Takes 5 minutes, if that.

I have recently had a Mk4 Golf moved from London to Swansea for £172 all in.

Shiply's alright when everyone does what they're supposed to. The problem with Shiply is:

Someone bids on a job.

You pay Shiply the deposit.

Then if they don't do the job, they've lost nothing but feedback, but you've lost your deposit.

And whatever you do, don't accept a bid on there from "Canary" aka CPR Ltd. They bid on everything, then decide whether they can be arsed to do the job after the deposit's been taken.

Why don't you insure yourself on it and get a train up and drive it back or is that not possible.

Could you not pay the seller to do It. I did this recently.
