Luke's Blue MK2F

Featured Replies

So, after lurking on here for a long time, I've decided to put a bit of a build thread together.

First off a little about me;

Currently 23, work as a Designer for Lifejackets & Military waistcoats, I do photography at car shows as a bit of a hobby.

July 2013 some muppet pulled out in front of me and my Lupo was then wrote off.

After a bit of searching about I decided to get a MK2F, below is a picture of how I got it November 2013.

The previous owner was a bodywork guy so had resprayed it around April 2012

When I got it there was no headunit, just a mass of wires, well over 10. So after figuring out the ones I needed I plugged my new unit in.

Left the car pretty standard for about a year as I had said that I wasn't going to modify it.

Then the headgasket went. A couple of hundred pounds down the drain (and a lot of help from my friends) it was ready to be back on the road,

I had a few more detailed pictures but have since lost them,

I saw a set of Renault F3 Wheels and ended up changing my mind about modifying it

Once I got these fitted I decided the car wasn't low enough so ordered some TA Technix coilovers.

The car is currently sitting as such

The rusty wing derived from an April Fool from someone.. Deciding to reverse into my car and drive off :x

Due to a lack of money at the time and the huge scratch really annoying me I decided to sand it down a bit and see what happened.. I quite like it at the minute but at some point in the future I'll be getting another wing and spraying it the correct colour

So, a quick list of current mods;

•Vauxhall Cavalier front seats

•Renault F3 Wheels

•TA Technix Coilovers

•Exhaust middle pipe & backbox

•Euro drivers side rear light

•Head unit & speakers

Last weekend I got myself a set of Porsche Tombstones for rather cheap that were almost perfect;
