I see, well I suppose I will have to have a crack at it, I'll keep an eye open and make it work, if it does go according I'll picture throughout the process in case anybody else was interested in having a go as I haven't found squat other than what front seats fit

I've had seats apart and swapped out foams before. Just need to be careful not to lose the little circlips or anything else

Never say never lol I'll make the bastards fit even if I have to fab new mounts and make space. Unless it is absolutely reduculous to get them in, unless they are literally to wide for the body

Hopefully I can get it in without too much hassle but maybe cutting a recess and welding a curved plate to the arch to gollow the seat base would work without fouling wheel space from when the suspension is under load, i Could end up in being limited to a certain width wheel :/

It wouldn't protrude too much into the arch. Seems like an extreme way to fit a rear bench mind. iirc, in a golf, don't the rear benches sit inside a recess? Or is that just the corrado. I wouldn't take much of what I say as gospel here howeevr as its been a very long time since i had my gold bench in my polo, so best thing to do would be to get one and have a look yourself

Yeah it is a bit extreme but I'm talking a shave really, I'm pretty sure the corrados are straight and yeah I will have to look at the bench
