I have a mk3 1991 polo gt. All the carpet in all of the footwells turn into puddles when ever it rains. The sunroof is occasionally damp around the edges and usually a damp smell on the inside. Just wondering what the problem could be and how to fix it, thanks.

rusty battery tray and or screen surround

ripped or missing door membranes

and it sounds like the sunroof needs some help if its wet
