Here for sale is my Polo 6N 1.0 8v. For sale to make way for a new car.

Car will come with 12 months MOT

Since owning this car a lot of work has been carried out. All the work done has been done within the last 3 years and have only done 6,500 miles since carrying out the very first work (most of the work has been done in the last 3,000 miles). It has been serviced 3 times in my ownership, this equates to every 2-3,000 miles. The servicing was carried out at my dad’s workplace. It’s also had two cambelts the last been 28/02/2015. Has very near full service History.

Work done:

Exterior:

*Full respray

*16v front and rear bumpers

*Smoothed side skirts

*Smoothed weld lines below rear lights

*Black mirrors

*Aero wipers

*Black badges

*De-wipered rear

Wheels and suspension:

*Dished 5 spokes refurbed and powder coated white. Not sure on the brand but very good looking.

*Tyres have only done 3,000 miles.

*Coilovers, fitted professionally and tracking was done (receipt to prove)

Engine:

*Heavily cleaned.

*Polished rocker cover.

*Last serviced 300 miles ago.

*Cambelt was changed on 28/02/2015 (yes just been changed)

*Tappets changed on 28/02/2015

*Lambda sensor changed

*Water pump and thermostat housing changed (3,000 miles ago)

Interior:

*Black suede/alcantara headlining, pillars.

*Sun visors, grab handles, parcel shelf supports sprayed black.

*Full Golf colour concept interior (comfiest seats every made!)

*VERY RARE colour concept gear knob and handbrake (imported from Germany and in very good condition, took ages to find these!)

I have spent all my spare time cleaning and polishing the car to ensure it stays as near perfect as it can be. But it is 3 years since it was sprayed and has done 6,500 miles so there age related marks (some small chips). Car gets driven 2 or 3 times a week and gets cleaned at least once usually twice a week. The car has been to a lot of shows including indoor shows like ‘Dubfreeze’. Has always got positive attention at shows which makes all the hard work worth it.

The car has two bad points. The first being a tear in driver’s side seat bolster (quoted £100 to repair). The car also has a 2 second tap on start up (common problem) but tappets have just been replaced so no tapping whilst running.

Overall, this is an exceptionally good condition car which is more than ready for the 2015 show season. If you are looking for a polo 6n you will not find one in this condition with all these extras added for a lower price (doubt one will come for sale in this condition for a while).

Priced at £1,000 but willing to listen to sensible offers.

Not sure on how much MOT is left need to check. HPI clear, can get a new HPI check done and printed out before sale.
