I am just about to wrap my light loom, but decided last minute to get rid of the repeaters as my mk2 doesn't have them. Now where they join at the plug is with the indicator wire into the same pin as shown in the picture

Can I just cut it by the plug and tape it up?

Do I need to take the pin out and separate the wires there (if so how do the pins come out?)

Or any other suggestions

Cut the wire a bit away from the connector ( so you can re-crimp later it required) and cover the ends of the wires with heatshrink or tape
