Hello! Nice to join you all, I've just bought myself my first little car , A polo 6n2 in Surf Blue.

I know there will probably be many threads on this so if anyone could point me in the right direction that'd be great.

My polo's Right headlight is very foggy & yellow, was just wondering, do i have to clean the INSIDE of the headlight

or is it the OUTSIDE that's foggy? If it's the inside , Is it a big job to take the headlight cover off to clean it?

Use a cutting compound or toothpaste and scrub just the outside.

You can't get inside without heating the sealant and it's not worth the time.

you need some 3000 grade wet and dry and some tcut and water.

takes a bit effort, but comes out depending on how much effort you put in.

put wet and dry in water then in circular patterns work your way round the headlight. Do it as if you was t-cutting paintwork, not too much etc.

your headlight should be nice and dull now.

then t-cut it back up to a shine.

I used meguiars headlight restoration kit worked good but there is cheaper ways of doing it
