got my polo home there last week, real credit to the last owner (also a member on here).

the plans are

- light tints on the rear windows

- Hid lights

- Rip on drivers seat repaired

- Blue LED's in both driver and passenger footwells

- Lots of other small bits and bobs i plan to do (mud flaps, stickers ect)

Any one got any ideas-pointers :)

looking forward to meeting lots of members at shows throughout the UK

Like the sound of your plans. I don't think mud flaps will fit though they'll scrape the ground

My mud flaps are about 1cm from the ground, and mine's slightly higher than this because of speed bumps.

Edit; although looking twice I don't think there's too much difference.

Got metro plates sorted and sub bought and box almost finished. Next thing to do is replace the front and rear passenger side windows and add a slight tint to the rear.

I now have the car on a personal plate (excuse the shitty plate haven't had time to get one made yet) and the sub wired into it. Also I got a few mins and went at the clocks and changed them to better ones

Also i got round to putting the new registration plates (excuse the shitty plates) on and the new mats in. Next on the list to do is new carpet as I'm not a fan of the carpet thats in it atm and then a good valet and its ready for the road.

These are called plasma kits aren't they (or something similar)? Remember my mate having them in his Punto few years back, they look cool, but a very 1990's mod. However, they do look good and much better than the standard lighting.

Just a quick update I passed the test on Friday and I'm insured and what not now :) took a drive down to a mates shed and got a few photos today :) safe to say I <3 the polo. Bought a lighter to for some reason

So last night i went out photographing and went to a serously buteful spot [emoji85][emoji87][emoji86]in other news it got a good polish today in the work shop even broke the exhaust on the ramp lol have her booked in tomorrow to get it repaired but it came up really well [emoji108]

Sorry for neglecting the thread so much I've been flat out with a new job since my last post I haven't done much bar put a black carpet in, polish it a good few times, put a new clutch into it and a new rocker cover gasket. next thing I'm thinking is a basic boot build that lifts in and out for shows (but that's to be decided)

Made a purchase today will soon be time to get this welded on and annoy people

Just another update on the car, I've decided not to put the back box on because I would have to cut the back bumper which in my opinion would take away from the car :( also I picked up a set of bbs rs's and have them on the car now :) only thing that's left to do now is lower the front coils afew turns and then finish the boot build :) hope to see some of the club members at titanic dubs next month
