I have recently been messing around with the dash in my car and I needed to unplug the radio, I have connected the radio back up and it has gone into safe mode, I do not have the car manual or the little card with the radio code on, does anyone know where else the code can be and which button I have to press after entering a code on the radio?

This is off a polo 6n2 1.0L E.

You would need to give the serial number on top of the stereo to VW/Specialist to get the code.

To be honest, for the price they charge you are well towards a half decent headunit and the harness.

I am planning on getting a better head unit so may aswell get one now then! cheers

I remember my Fiesta, they wanted £40 for the code....

Got a new headunit £45, Harness £8. Sorted.

If it was a Ford I have the decode software for them :)

Oh well, an excuse to get a new head unit is never bad.

There was an online radio code place I'm sorry I don't remember what it was called but I just did a google search - sure it was something expert - anyhow I have radio number off the unit chassis number and hey presto got the code emailed to me it cost about £5 - after the code had worked!!
