So my father has a 1.8 VW Golf Driver and he's hoping to get a VR6 conversion for it. He suggested that in the future I could have the engine from the golf and put it into my Mk2F Polo. Just wondering if it's worth it or not? Would be nice to have it but want to see what you guys think and your views on it

It would be a lot of work for not much gain, I don't know the exact ins and outs but it certainly wouldn't be a straight forward bolt in conversion.

Unlike fitting something like the 1.3 3F engine from the Polo GT, straight forward bolt in plug and play conversion and would give you the same gain in power.
