I was on here for a bit a few years back before I got a new job which meant we could drop to one car so the Polo was sold.

We're now running our fully converted 2011 VW T5 camper as a daily which is just proving to be a real faff so fingers crossed, tomorrow we're going to be putting a deposit on a 6N2 GTI to run as a daily. Completely standard but really well looked after, full heated leather - exactly like our old one which was a must for me etc. Not really got any plans for it as yet - the wife would kill me if I dropped it on coilovers etc like the van is but I might go for a subtle drop on some H&R/Eibach springs, maybe some spacers for the wheels and although its got the 6 CD changer in the back, I quite fancy getting one of the VW CD players for the front to fit underneath the Gamma tape deck. Or maybe just get a decent double DIN unit..

We'll see but its going to be good to be back :)

Its happened! The one which was advertised as being a good 'un, erm, wasn't. But picked up pretty much the exact same car with 90k miles, heated leather and a CDE induction kit just down the road from it on Friday. Plans are to revert everything (nearly) back to standard (CDE will be for sale) and then go for a very subtle drop and generally tidy it up and keep it forever :)
