Hi all new to the polo breadvan scene just got myself a 1.0 4speed and love it few little niggling probs but should all get sorted. Here's a few pics Window tints have gone now as looked crap. The temp gauge was going straight to 110 when I got it even whilst driving so replaced both temp sensors which has fixed the problem. Also it's juddering when you put foot down only a few seconds till it clears so done new leads and plugs so hopefully this solves the problem. I do bodywork from home so whole car is going to be done in Ford 2k frozen white with bottom half and bumpers gloss black also got some bbs ras to go on. Another problem I have is CD player just put in it only works with a permanent feed if I switch red and yellow round it Don't work I have to have red wires in both which is a pain as have to Remember to switch it off which I know I'm going to forget lol. Looks like this hope you all like and if anyone knows if my problems could be something else please let me know

There should be a supply at the original wiring connector that is only live when the key is in the ignition ( S contact supply) , it's a Brown/Red wire (thin) connect that to your ignition supply on the radio & the live supply to the thick Red wire

Was thinking of taking a live from fag lighter

The ciggy lighter is live at all times so you'll still have the problem of potentially flattening the battery if the radio isn't switched off, if you can't see the Brown/Red wire @ the radio connector? it should be found at the ignition switch

So done a bit on polo last few weeks I've sorted the front drivers wheel bearing and put a new bottom arm on as well also I managed to get an ignition live from heater switch so radio works fine now. So I'm respaying this in Ford frozen white so far bonnet is done and I've also put the car in primer now all bar the roof and boot lid bottom half might stay black from bumpers down I'm not sure yet

Few updates picked up some 15" bbs with tyres and they have been refurbished by me in a purple which is same colour roof is going to be. Also made a front splitter from a mk4 golf one which I've had to shorten but will put picks up once all on also done debaged grill purple

So today I got the polo painted in Ford frozen white

Also made a dodgey front splitter from a mk4 golf one I had laying about

Got wheels on which are rubbing like a idiot so need some 165 tyres as these are 195 so should stop once I get a little stretch on

And tinted rear lights also

Just got roof left to do which is gonna be purple same as wheels

Three more goodies brought

New gear knob and minion sticker added daughter loves minions and sorta goes with the purple theme

So sold the bbs the other day as I got these beautys to go on
