Anyone still around from 7-odd years ago?

Featured Replies

I used to be a pretty active member on here, and went to the Polo show 3 times, always loved it!

The first year I went (2008 I think), a group of scottish lads helped push my car up a very muddy bank so I could park it up. I hadn't even got out of the car at this point, and it was just really nice to meet up with a nice group of people, if I remember rightly, one of them had a mk2 or mk3 trailer that matched their car.

I had an Indigo Blue 6n 16v, with a side exit and coilovers. I also had a very substantial sticker window, and eventually bright green wheels, but I like to try and forget about that, I was young. I loved the car, but brainwashed myself into selling and getting a TT. Bad choice.

This was my old polo

The Jetta is my baby, but I have serious cravings for another 6n 16v before I get too old. I was just wondering if anyone was still about from "the olden days". I remember Chrispy (white 6n) Neil someone (white mk3?) I'd remember a few of the people who ran the club, but can't think of any names.

Anyway, hopefully I'll be posting something pretty cool up at the weekend. #take2

Welcome back. I remember your 6n and remember you from the show in '08. I had my black 16v at the time too.

Your Jetta looks mint though!

Thanks Kwijibo! I have missed the polo forum, I still pop on from time to time but I really want to try and make Billing this year.

Yeah the Jetta is a lovely car, definitely a long term thing, hoping to get a house with a garage soon to get her tucked away from the elements.

I definitely remember your username! The 08 show was a brilliant weekend.
