Polo coupe mk2f Caribbean green

Featured Replies

Price: £1100

It is with deep regret that my polo is going up for sale. It's a 1993 polo coupe in Caribbean green (not many come about for sale).

The car has been tastefully modified, all within the past couple of months, including AP lowering kit 60/30(much more compliant ride than TA technix), in which most of the front end was replaced, including top mounts, lower arms and so on....

At the moment the car sits on ATS classics (7j front 8j rears) finished in satin grey, although in the past week some b***tard stole one of the rear centre caps but these can be bought for a reasonable amount. I will sell the car on the steel wheels if someone would prefer to get the car cheaper but would still be looking for around £850.

The car has a full service history (mainly VW) and the car had its MOT in February at my work (Harwoods Jaguar) I'm which it had three advisories which were the rubber bushes on the anti role bar need replacing ( very cheap) slight play in the rear left wheel bearing (doesnt make any noise when driving) and slight deterioration on the front number plate so nothing major and all easy fixes and can be negotiated in the price.

In terms of the bodywork the car has always been praised for being rust free and as you can tell from the pictures the paintwork is a great condition and cleans up great every time. It does have some age related marks such as a couple of car park dings which I have tried to capture in a photo. The wheels also have a couple of marks but again as you can see they all look great.

I recently purchased the GT interior as it was in good condition with only a tear in the side of the drivers seat and could ideally do with a clean but other than that they are great. There are JBL speakers in the parcel shelf (£80) along with edge speakers in the dash, radio with aux and USB will be included.

The car runs great but has a bit of a weak battery which is only truly noticeable Cold starts but the car never fails to start as you could guess for a low mileage car of this age. The 4 speed box is a gem and slots straight in to all gears, and the clutch is also going stong, so ideal for someone who wants a run around and has been a great first car for me as it is very cheap to insure and is cheap on tax. I wish i could keep this car as I had plans for this car and haven't really been able to enjoy it since the modifications.

The only reason for sale is I do have to do a lot of motorway mileage now and could do with a car with more gears and I will be gutted to see it go. I think I have covered everything, and as I said before price is negotiable so all serious offers accepted. Also in wont sell the ATS classics separate unless the car sells on the steel wheels

If you want to contact me either try calling/text me on 07765481023 or emailing benkav96@gmail.com, text and email is better as I get terrible signal where I live.

Cheers
