mk2 /2f did they come with 1st aid kits ever

wondered if anyone knows if first aid kits were an option or accesory back in the day

would like to know where it fitted

Got a 2f coupe and the manual says one's supposed to fit in the rear left sideof the boot, but also says "The first aid kit and warning triangle are not part of vehicle equipment"

Wouldn't know for sure though, wasn't alive when the car was made :unknw:

Pretty sure they're dealer fit optional extras or accessories. I've got the bracket for one somewhere, it was in the boot, nearside, below the parcel shelf support.

Never had a first aid kit in it, but a couple changer fitted perfectly.
