I'm new to polos and had my first a couple of weeks ago. Its lowered 60/40 with springs. Its a 93 mk2f. Can any one tell my what size alloys i can put on it without modification? I've researched and found so much about 13" 14" ET this and that to the point i am confused. What I'm looking for is better handling and grip as apart from being my daily i will use it on a sprint track.

If you just want bolt on wheels the standard alloys that came on the G40 are a 13" with ET38 and 175/60/13 tyres.

You can get decent track tyres in that size too.

Would 5.5j and et of 38 fit?

Yes that's standard G40 size.
