Just picked up some VWII calipers from my local scrappy. As I have seen on here they can be used to fit vented disks on a GT on the original carriers.

Stupid question, are all VWII calipers same size and fit etc? as these ones look a little different to the ones I have seen on various other threads. Came off a mk3 polo (not mk2f)

I believe they are all the same. I have heard the fitting for the flexi hose may differ. But for the time it takes I'd just pull a wheel off and give it a go.

yeah 6n. Fair point on whipping the wheel off! will have a look on the weekend. though from memory am pretty sure it has a different hose fitting as you suggested

Might have a banjo type hose connection instead of a screw in hose, the thread is different on them.

Yeah the threads are different, tried yesterday :(

May be a good excuse to get some braided lines....
