Hello on my polo the aircon dosent work,with the weather getting warmer it would be nice.when you press the button that lights up but the revs front drop slightly or nothing,grow would I test different parts or should I just get it re gassed

First move would be to get the codes read to check there is nothing electronically stopping it from working, then if that reveals nothing, get the gas pressures checked/refilled

So what just plug it in then,I'm guessing my 30 one won't work

Most of the generic readers are only intended to read the engine codes, even though yours (6N2 ?) should be obd ll compliant that only again refers to the engine and the Aircon is on VW's 5 digit code system, so you'll need VCDS/Vagcom, You don't say your location in your ID there might be someone near with VCDS ??

sorry i got it regassed and serviced last night,he held a vacuum for ten mins then put die in then the refrigernt,its now working spot on nice and cold,and the regas was only £19 of groupon lol
