I'm looking at retrimming my dash, how much material would i need to do the main dash, and then the separate Dash inserts?

It depends on how you want to trim the dash, in what material and the quality of the materials.

For example - if you want to retrim in leather then get a top quality leather not cheap ebay seconds as the quality makes a big difference in how the dash is trimmed. cheap materials are not easy to sculpt around curves and shapes. Scars in the learher will also not stretch properly.

Here is my 6n2 dashboard to give you some idea of what can be done.

I'm looking to do it in Alcantara (Original i know) just love the look of it, and that is a gorgeous interior buddy

if you are trimming it in alcantara then you dont have to worry about material quality. you should be able to measure how much material you need by measuring the dash. give an inch all the way around where seams and edges are for the pieces you want to trim

If you are thinking of Alcantara have you thought about flocking? Not totally the same (well its totally different) but could almost be the same effect and would be cheaper.

i have tried to work out what the seats are, but cant :( are they from a n alfa? am i even close?

i am seriously contemplating have mine done (6n) and i will have to show the trimmer these pictures to show them what proper stitching should look like.
