Any one know a ball park figure for a garage to change one wheel bearing (front right) ?

To do the whole job? Or will you be taking the hub carrier off and just getting them to do the pressing part?

If it's the whole job, depending on the garage hourly rate you're probably looking at 1-2 hours work plus the cost of the bearing. Assuming £40 an hour then £80 on labour and they would probably charge you £40-£50 for the part too.

If you just want the pressing part done then you're probably looking at £20-£30 for them to do that for you. And you would pick up the bearing cheaper yourself too.

But every garage is different and if you go to the main dealer you will be looking at a lot more!

hhhmm, cheers for that. Would it be easier/cheaper to just get a new hub/bearing and fit it my self?

easiest is to take your strut to a freindly back street garage /engineers with your new bearing and pay them to do it , last ones i had done was £10 each which is more than fair

to pay for the whole job id imagine 150-200 with the bearing included

if you plan to keep the car insist on a good brand bearing like f.a.g or s.k.f
