What brake pads do I need?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have a 2002 Polo 9N 1.2E, it has 256MM disks, and it has FS-III calipers which I believe are ATE, but I was hoping someone could confirm this for me. Pics below:

I have these disks in my basket currently: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/brake-discs/car/volkswagen/polo-02-09/2002/1-2-9n-9n3/brembo-group-n-oe-quality-brake-discs-front-pair-256-x-22mm

But I was wondering which of these pads are correct?

Brembo OE pads (DT part no: BREP.85.041 - listed as ATE calipers): http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/brake-pads/car/volkswagen/polo-02-09/2002/1-2-9n-9n3/brembo-oe-replacement-brake-pads-front-pad-set-ate-caliper

Brembo OE pads (DT part no: BREP.85.072 - listed as ATE calipers): http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/brake-pads/car/volkswagen/polo-02-09/2002/1-2-9n-9n3/brembo-oe-replacement-brake-pads-front-pad-set-ate-caliper-2

Brembo OE pads (DT part no: BREP.85.071 - listed as VW calipers): http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/brake-pads/car/volkswagen/polo-02-09/2002/1-2-9n-9n3/brembo-oe-replacement-brake-pads-front-pad-set-vw-caliper

I assume I should be after the ones with the highest number on the end, which are also the only ones in stock. The others might just be relics they haven't removed from the site?

Sorry guys, when I made this thread I thought the part numbers were Brembo part numbers, I realise that this is a question nobody can really help with now I know they are just DemonTweeks part numbers.

Still, of anyone has any idea, or a link to a less confusing site where I can buy these, it would be much appreciated. :)
