i want to smooth the plate recess on the front bump strip but not really sure on the best way to do it, iv got a spare bump strip i got off an old bumper. the recess isnt very big so not sure if its best to just fill it or plastic weld then skim with fiberglass paste and filler ?

any advice much appreciated

If you don't want it to crack after a month, go with the plastic weld and the skim of f/glass

ok thanks, is it best to do it when the bumpstrip is on the bumper ? would rather take it off and do it so i dont have to spray the bumper but its quite bendy when its off and might just crack while putting it back on the bumper.
