Who's the best insurance to go with that would be cheap for a classic VW mk2 breadvan?

I've found that Diamond and Elephant, subsidiaries of Admiral, are usually the cheapest by far, if you're not prepared to go with a black box (and sometimes even then).

General consensus of those companies is that they're fine as long as you never have to deal with them.
