Hi, I have a 1997 6N1 1.4 74kW, where is the ABS light located? Should it be in the instrumental cluster? Anyway I opened it up and thats what is inside:

1 - Left turn signal

2 - Main beam

3 - Right turn signal

4 - Fuel gauge

5 - Fog lights

6 - Anti-lock brake system (ABS)

7 - Brake wear warning

8 - Brake test / brake system fault warning

9 - Glow period check

10 - Alternator

11 - Oil pressure

12 - Airbag

13 - Turn signal repeater / side light check

14 - Rear fog light

15 - Coolant

I've only ever seen the separate abs light unit which goes under the airbag light near the hazard switch.

From the ones I've taken apart I don't remember seeing a symbol for abs as most of them are blacked out.

If you hold that black plastic strip up to a light you can see the symbols through it, then just match that up to the bulb.

Edit- I've just looked at the picture again and position 6 is the seatbelt warning light
