Looking for rubber

Featured Replies

Front tyres on my 6R are getting close to the legal limit (I'm not proud that I've taken this long to deal with it) so need replacing ASAP.

Tyre is 215/45 R16 and I'm looking for a decent tradeoff between rolling resistance and wet grip grade.

Considering Michelin Pilot Sport 3 DT1s, unless anyone has any better recommendations? Ideal not more than £120 a tyre!

Cheers :)

Edit: Rims are 7Jx16 ET35 according to http://www.wheel-size.com/size/volkswagen/polo/2014/#trim-12-eudm

Only Pilot Sports, would need a 17" alloy for the Supers :(

I'm on 205/45/16 Avon ZV5's on my Ibiza, and the grip's outstanding. On paper, they're not the most fuel efficient tyre, but I'm getting the right side of 50mpg, so I'm happy.

Think they were about £50 a corner off the net and I gave the local partworns place a tenner each to fit them.
