The right wheels for the 6n

Featured Replies

Getting ready to order in my new coilovers (spax rsx) and looking for the right wheels for my 6n valver 5dr.

I've got my heart set on some rota kensei but the fitment is off is there anyway to make these fit or any wheels with a simular style that would. I'm not a wheel guy myself and any feedback would be appreciated

As far as I'm aware you can get these in 4x100? The only thing is you'll need 10mm spigot rings to fit the hub as they're a 67.1mm bore

Yes you can get them in 4x100 and I was wondering about the bore. As they're ET0 it's going to be a tight fit once lowered.

I got some new rear panels to go on when I get the new paint may see about modifying my old ones and see how it goes, an if they mess up its not the end of the world. What about the width also you can get 8 or 9 inch, was thinking 8 but if I went for 9 would I need to get the grinder out?

I'm trying to keep this polo as standard as possible except for the coils wheels and the leather 16v interior, so grinding and molded archs I'd try to avoid I'm just struggling to find some some decent uber deep wheels in this style with a higher ET

I don't know about the sort of width you can fit with a 0 offset to be honest with you but I can't see it being able to fit 9s standard steels offset is 43 if I'm not mistaken isn't it?

I have a set of rota grid v to go on my valver which are 8j et0. The fronts only need a little work I think (might need a 5mm spacer and a little camber) and the rears will need to be cambered to get them anywhere near to where I want them to sit (just inside the arch so I can go lower) I'm tackling the job this Friday and will upload pics if I remember. Hope this sort of helps jay
