Miratec ignition leads

Featured Replies

I'm trying to ring around and get some ignition leads today, as the BBT ones that GSF sent me seem totally rubbish.

All I've worked out is that these are also cheap leads. Has anybody ever used a set?

I've currently got a choice of BBT leads that spark at the coil and are causing an irregular misfire or new BBT leads (two of which are the same length, I'm sure that's not right) which are causing a regular misfire so bad it's constant under acceleration. >< Obviously need this sorted today as I'm supposed to be leaving for the Social at 6am tomorrow morning.

Distributor cap and rotor arm have both already been replaced.

(This is for the Golf, hence I put it in general.)

Miratec are shit...buy yourself a set from here https://www.formulapower.com/.They're not

as expensive as you might think..I've run them on my 2 Rados and have a set on the G40...

you'll never buy another set of these for your car but you will go through a couple of sets

of the Miratec leads...

Yeah I didn't go for them in the end. The car actually ran alright for almost-700 mile round trip to the social and back too. Want a decent set of leads though so I'll give them a look in. :)

I have the 10mm leads from formula power on my G :)

I have found they're incredible fragile tho! And bloody expensive!

Yeah, a tad more than I can budget. I'll probably get some Beru ones for now.

Depends what size you want depends on the prize. The 10mm leads are very pricey but the 7mm and 8mm arent so bad
