Does your bonnet look closed with them struts fitted of does it now stick up a bit ?

As I have the same ones on mine and they make the bonnet look open. They was already fitted to the car when I bought it

Nope bonnet fits exactly the same as before they where fitted but they are defo my favourite mod so far

Came home to find this waiting for me so just in time for the weekend

Not got anything else done as I was away most the weekend at a wedding but did get the camber shims through so just need to find the time to fit them and roll the arches

Well made it to its first show! Tracking is miles out as I didn't get back in time on Saturday to get the tracking done so hopfully get it in on Monday! Didn't get to the stage I wanted but cleaned up well

Looks great, my tyres shredded in just over a week my tracking was that bad lol

Just a small update as haven't had alot of time between the rain and work..

Its also booked in for its 2nd show on Saturday at the Scottish Vag show so need to find some time to get stuff done.

I had the mileage corrected on the g40 clocks to match the old ones.

Speedo stripped and mileage corrected

Received a remote through the post for the cd player

Also managed to find the vw garage it was bought new from and got a new dealer sticker to match the tax disc holder that I found under the seat yesterday..

Ended up getting it's tracking done in the end.. (well it was quick fit!) as the first time I took it they told me the locking nut on the drivers side was missing so wouldn't do it and after some research found that the drivers side isn't adjustable so took it down today a little annoyed and ended up getting the tracking done for free

Also got a gutter mount roof rack through the post today so will get that built and fitted :)

Nothing beats free stuff but sounds about right for for kwik rip

The number plates are original dealer ones too but think I'm gonna try make a repro tax disc and fit it in the holder

Had a go at making a repro tax disc and found the exact date for its first disc so a wee play on photoshop and printed it off and worked out ok

Also dropped the front coilovers to match the rear a little better but still may Need to come down a little more

But car all cleaned and Gary is also all set to go
