Come across a wicked picture of us rolling out of Tatton Park yesterday

I have a question on the scoop, how did you fit it in regards to the washers fouling? I have got one now and just totally baffled by it

I had the same problem mate. Turns out to fit it you have to get shut of your washer jets mate. So that's what I've done and when I have my MOT and the weather turns bad I'll be taking the vent off and putting my washer jets back on until I can figure out a new home for them

I can't be bothered with swapping about, I might do some filing to fit the vent over the washer jet section and drill two small holes in the back of the surround section to run standard jets lol

Took roof rack off for winter and put it in storage on top of next years project

Crazy seeing how much the car has changed since I put the roof rack back on for summer

Also sent car into garage to have new heater matrix , new expansion tank , new radiator and if he has time new cam belt , new water pump and new thermostat before I finally go back to work after a full 22kg beer keg crushed my foot in work.

Ouch !! that looks painful! less so if you drank the contents of the keg :)

Afraid I didn't get to drink the beer nige as I was delivering it to a pub when it happened and got rushed off to hospital. Which has cost me 3 and half weeks off work so far 😞

Today was the first time I've been able to drive the car and that was only to take it the garage after I took the roof rack off 😢

I saw a delivery man loose a big toe after a keg dropped on it as it just missed the toecap on his safety boot that was two sizes too big for him !! so he couldn't claim !!

Ouch 😱 the nurses said I was l lucky not to break any bones thanks to me having a good set of safety boots on

Whats the plans for the Nova then?

Plans for the Nova are roof chop pick up Nova slammed to the road with wheel tuck and thinking a dirty turbo diesel engine

Though I am tempted to have my old 1.6 GSI engine rebuilt and tuned up a bit

Either way it's going to upset a lot of Nova owners but I've never been one for building OEM cars

Was I right in thinking yours was an SPI 1.3? If so I'll give you a couple bucks for the breather pipes at the back of the block being that it's dead?[emoji14]

Yeah will be swapping 99% of my stuff over ready for show season next year and prob will get the bacardi logos printed and stuck on the doors again as only cost £15 for the pair

No worries mate I just found one on ebay. I hope to see this at a show one day, hopefully polo show at least when june comes back around
