first of all apologies if I'm posting in the incorrect location.

basically I've decided to do the Mongol Rally next year (drive from London to Mongolia in a 1000cc or less car) the 6n2 polo seems like the best option at the moment but I've got a few questions i was hoping you could answer.

1. how much could I increase the ride height by?

2. would i be able to fit 14" all terrain tires on.

3. how much could I increase the performance?

Ahh, you'll love it! ('09 rally vet here)

1. You don't necessarily need to, but new springs and shocks would be good.

2. I'd imagine so, we couldn't get those so we just took about 3 spare wheels. Only had one puncture on the end.

3. You must be joking! In Mongolia you'll be lucky to do 15mph. You need economy, not performance, as there aren't always petrol stations once you get past Georgia. (Depending on your route)
