Like the thermostat housing sandwich plate, I'm not sure whether many people will need/want something like this. But again, just in case it helps someone I'll list it here.

Early solid lifter engines with the exhaust heated inlet manifolds could use this between head and late inlet manifold to block off those exhaust channels, opening up the possibilty of fitting mk2f injection or a bike carb manifold made for later engines. Cut on a water jet from 6mm thick aluminium.

Alternatively it could just be used as a flange for making a manifold for bike carbs/throttle bodies/whatever.

Yeah you would use two gaskets. These are only 6mm thick, I doubt there is that little clearance that you couldn't fit it + a 1mm gasket?
