Hey, my polo 6n2 has decided that the central locking doesnt want to work. when i put the key in to unlock the doors the barrel just turns and nothing happens, on both sides. i have already removed the handles to see if the paddle has broken but nothing appears to be wrong with them. I then believed that the locking pump could be faulty, but the button inside that allows you to lock and unlock was not working either. So i checked the fuse but again no problem there. Has anyone else got any ideas of what could be wrong?

Can you hear the pump run ? as they do suffer with water/condensation ingress that stops the pump from working
