I have a 2003 (53) Polo 1.4se 16v. 5 Dr.

The front passenger side electric window suddenly stopped working. The window got stuck in the down/open position, when I try to close it I can hear the motor working, but it won't go up/close. I managed to lift it and close it manually.

I have been told this is a common problem with the Polo, the clips that hold the window break in the window regulator. The Window regulator part fitted is part no: 6Q4837401K. I'm having trouble finding this part.

I have looked at online ETKA catalogs and ebay, and all I can find is 6Q4837461K for the 2003 Polo. Is this the replacement/newer version of the part?

I have contacted VW and they refuse to give me the part number.

I don't want to order/buy the wrong part. Can someone help please.
