I'm after a G40 / GT throttle cable with the small metal clip that holds the cable once adjusted on the bracket bolted to the inlet manifold.

Any mk2f throttle cable will work as long as it is from a right hand drive car and has the part number

868 721 555 A

VW Heritage can order them from Germany, for around £30 delivered, three week wait on it though....

I managed to get one second hand, it turned out to be longer than the old one already on it. The metal part near the pedal was longer! Managed to make bracket to compensate for the difference in size but its not ideal. Do the Coupe S use a shorter cable compared to the GT / G40 then?
