Just searched for what the symptoms/sounds for a worn-out bearing are, and I'm about 90% sure this is exactly what I need.

I'll provisionally buy it, but I want to check my gearbox oil first. Hold it for ~3 days for me?

If your gearbox makes a horrific rattly noise when you release the clutch pedal then yes 😂

Oh. I wouldn't say it's a rattle, more of an intermittent dull grinding like sandpaper on metal. Varies in loudness, and changes with the speed of the car.

Mines lovely and quiet now I've changed it all. Now for the next rattle!!!!!
