Hi all,

Long time user of the forum and honest seller.

FOR SALE: 97 plate, 1.6 8v 6n, modified

I've had the car 7/8 years, and for 3 of those years it was in dry storage due to me being at uni - been back on the road for about 18 months.

It's always been a reliable runner however I have recently brought a mk5 golf so now selling the polo.

I'll start with the bad points:

  • No MOT - Expired in August and needs work to pass
  • Electric windows have failed and need repairing to pass MOT
  • Central locking pump has failed
  • Patches of rust starting to creep in - one arch particularly bad
  • A strip of lacquer has come off the bonnet where some detailing tape went wrong
  • Paint showing it's age

Good points:

  • Mileage: 96.5k - Won't go up
  • Cam belt, water pump and oil change in last 12 months
  • Interior very clean
  • Has been very mechanically reliable
  • Brakes good

Modifications:

  • Phil J coilovers all round - spanner included
  • K&N air filter - could prob do with a clean
  • Matt black roof and ariel delete
  • Rear wiper delete
  • Valver rear lights
  • Pressed plate on rear - custom sized one on front
  • LED number plate light change

Additional points:

  • Teardrop wheels not included - car will be on steels
  • Great project starting point

Location: Northampton

Price: £350
