I'm breaking a mk2 which has the bit you need i think

All the bits or? I have a read up on what I need I think that's all of it from a mk2 anyway

don't want to butt in, but Vtwinisland does your car not have the earlier engine (10 rocker nuts)? If so the ignition system won't be the correct sort. You need one from an 84 (iirc) to 91 mk2. These parts can also be gotten from a golf with a 1l or 1.3l engine in

The engine is from a 1990 1.0 so should be fine
