I just fitted some jom coilovers to my polo 6n and I got a problem with one of the rears.

As soon as I lower it down the sharft comes through the top and raises the mount.

I'm not sure why it's doing that.

Sounds like there is an issue with the top hat on the spring.

If it is only doing one side I would remove both and check you haven't missed something.

When I fitted coilovers to my 6n I had the same issue, it turns out the little bearing bit wasn't seating properly and when the weight of the car was lowered on to the struts it was pushing up through the turret. Makes sure it's all lined up correctly first, and then try again.

Solved it was the top hat I needed to put a spacer to hold it all together
