DiRT Rally

Featured Replies

Not strictly about cars, but it also kind of is. Not sure if there are many gamers on here, but I've been playing DiRT Rally on Steam lately and it's set to be one of the best driving motorsport games for a while. They've done away with the very 'American' aspects that DiRT2 and (to a lesser degree) DiRT3 had and have gone back to aiming for the more thoroughbred type of games that early Colin McRae Rally games were all about. It's getting updates all the time, the latest of which consist of a rallycross mode, including Lydden Hill as one of the initial two tracks, and a multiplayer mode.

If you're in to rally and driving/racing games, I would DEFINITELY recommend checking it out. It's still in Early Access so it's not finished, but it's already better than a lot of racing games I've paid full retail (and 'fully finished') for.

i still find Colin McRae 2 still mees my rally needs

colin mcrae 3 was the best, loved driving the focus and beating personal bests on all the stages.

The new one's gone back to that sort of feel. It's great. And it looks beautiful too.

CMR2 was always my favourite as well. Used to love the UK stages in an Impreza.
