Hi everyone I want to do an upgrade to get bigger brakes on my pd100 polo 9n,

I know of a set of hubs,288mm disc's and callipers for sale but there off a bora, will they fit ?

Or do they need to be off a Ibiza or fabia ?

I have a set of 288 calipers and carriers, might even have 2

Bought them in error, but everywhere I checked said that if you have the 256mm hubs with the detachable carriers, then they will fit.

Also, another option are the awesome 312mm brakes, which use a different style of calipers. I have only heard great things about these, but of course they aren't cheap.

also might be worth checking in your local breakers yard as you would be surprised at what they go for, I recently got a complete front setup for £50 and had they straight away, where as eBay etc you would have to wait for them to get to you.
