Hi all I've brought some steel wheels off eBay and just want to know what size tyres will fit them? They were advertised as 13" polo 6n lupo steel wheels, 100 pcd 5.5j ET 43.

I have 5.5j wheels and 175/60r13 is perfect, also got grade A for wet grip tyres and B rated for noise because the tyres are cheap in that size

EDIT: will have to double check that size just tried to find which tyres I bought and can't find em

Any tyres in the list of 13s for the mk1-3 in the above thread will fit.

175/60/13 would be my personal choice.

I want as low profile as possible.So what tyre would that be?

If you don't care about speedo readings then 175/50/13 is pretty low.

Would they fit with no problems on my mk2 polo? And how much difference will it make with the speedo readings?

They will fit just fine, but if you're not lowered your arch gap will look HUGE!

As for the speedo reading, it will be over reading. So at an indicated 60mph you'll actually be doing closer to 55mph.

OK thanks for your help. I'm going to lower it after fitting the tyres when I can work out how much I need to lower it by.
